The Generalized AI Agents team is at the forefront of AI innovation, driving cutting-edge research and development across deep learning, natural language processing, large language models (LLMs/GPT), reinforcement learning (RL), and graph-based models. We specialize in pioneering advanced agentic solutions, including state-of-the-art AI innovations with RL fine-tuning of LLMs, to build intelligent systems that adapt, reason, and act autonomously. We are looking for an enthusiastic Data Scientist, Security who is passionate about the latest AI advancements and is willing to take on variety of challenges in developing advanced AI solutions for security scenarios including rigorous AI agent design, development, evaluation and validation, continual pretraining, task-focused fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and privacy-aware data curation. Requirements

Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) or consulting experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

2 + years of experience in problem solving and programming (Python, C#) with large data sets, using big data tools and scripting languages (SQL, PySpark, KQL), as well as using AI/ML and data analysis tool (Excel, Matlab, R, and/or PowerBI).
2 + years of experience in using statistical/analysis/AI/ML tools, defining, and implementing intelligent solutions on data.
2 + years of experience with AI applied to areas such as graph learning, IR, NLP, computer vision, etc., is preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and run advanced AI systems and AI agents for a variety of security-oriented scenarios.
Design end-to-end ML experiments and tests on large, structured and unstructured data sets.
Create and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems.
Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources, perform large scale analysis and interpret complex data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in data science, machine learning, prompt engineering and automation.
