As a Data Scientist for Sales Planning and Forecasting, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales organization by combining advanced machine-learning forecasting with economic modeling, elasticity analysis, and market interpretation. You will assess how macroeconomic factors, competitive actions, pricing, and incentives influence demand—and translate those insights into actionable guidance optimizing Sales, Product, and Build Planning strategies. This is a high-impact role with visibility across leadership, shaping vehicle volume planning, market strategy, and long-term revenue outcomes. You will work with cross-functional teams, including product planning, production planning, finance, and data engineering to leverage data used for statistical and machine learning models to improve monthly near-term and annual long-term Lucid planning volumes.
