About The Position

As a Data Scientist Marketing Analytics Vice President within the Consumer Bank Marketing Analytics team, you will lead the development and execution of analytical strategies aimed at driving insights for Chase's deposit account portfolio growth. This role involves analyzing account opening and attrition drivers, presenting findings to senior stakeholders, and influencing investment decisions in customer experience and account opening platforms. You will also mentor junior data scientists and maintain a rigorous controls environment for accurate results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's and Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related fields).
• 5+ years of experience in applying statistical methods to real world problems.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and at least one of the following analytical tools: SAS, Python, R.
• Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation.
• Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture Insight/Visual Sciences, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, etc.).
• Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics strategy and process for portfolio growth.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior data scientists across the CB Marketing Analytics organization.
• Consult on experimental design, data collection, and developing new strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and other Data & Analytics teams.
• Interpret results and present to stakeholders and senior management including CMO and CEO.
• Continuously lead innovation projects to drive more advanced analytics.
• Recruit and train talented data professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate and timely results.
