About The Position

The Data Scientist Marketing Analytics Senior Associate will lead the measurement and strategy of Chase's Consumer Bank marketing campaigns. This role focuses on analyzing campaign performance to optimize marketing spend and drive customer growth. The position requires providing thought leadership and hands-on expertise in statistical analysis, experimental design, and collaboration with stakeholders to influence future marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Data Science/Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related fields).
• 3+ years of experience in applying statistical methods to real world problems.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and at least one of the following analytical tools: SAS, Python, R.
• Experience with visualization techniques for data analysis and presentation.
• Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe/Omniture Insight/Visual Sciences, Webtrends, CoreMetrics, etc.).
• Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Marketing analytics experience preferred.
• Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics strategy and book of work for deepening marketing campaigns.
• Conduct regular campaign performance measurement and unstructured ad hoc analysis of customer behavior.
• Perform experimental reads and profitability analysis.
• Consult on experimental design and data collection.
• Develop new strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and other Data & Analytics teams.
• Interpret results and present findings to stakeholders and senior management, including the CMO.
• Lead innovation projects to drive more advanced analytics.
• Recruit and train talented data professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain an inclusive team environment across CB Marketing Analytics and CB Test Design teams.
• Ensure a rigorous controls environment for accurate and timely results.
