About The Position

Noblis is seeking a Data Scientist/Instructor in Springfield VA. This role will primarily focus on providing support to Fundamental (2000) learning levels and courses, with a secondary focus on Intermediate (3000) learning level courses, both levels within the Data Science content area. The selected candidate is able to build upon the knowledge taught at the introductory learning level (1000), in order to effectively handle fundamental (2000) learning level/course tasks. Have a thorough understanding of the concepts and skills related to data science and can apply these skills in routine and none routine situations. The candidate shall be able to apply tradecraft skills through problem based exercises culminating in exams. The candidate shall demonstrate solid data science tradecraft skills and an understanding of how data science tradecraft contributes to addressing key intelligence questions.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution, related to their assigned area of expertise (i.e., Computational Thinking, Programming, Statistics, or Data Visualization).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience focusing on the concepts and applications of data analytics, computer science and programming, data modeling, Artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Nice To Haves

  • TS/SCI CI Polygraph.
  • A master’s degree from an accredited (i.e., regional, national, or institutional) academic institution, related to their assigned area of expertise (i.e., Computational Thinking, Programming, Statistics, or Data Visualization).
  • GEOINT experience.

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations to improve standard practices, procedures and tools
  • Employ advanced skills and grow project deliverables, as well as your expertise
