About The Position

itD is seeking a Data Scientist lll to provide advanced analytical and modeling support for strategic initiatives across large-scale product ecosystems. This role contributes directly to data-driven decision-making by delivering actionable insights, robust metrics, and experimentation frameworks that inform product and ecosystem strategy. The ideal candidate brings deep data science expertise, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to drive impact in fast-paced environments. Location: Onsite - Menlo Park, CA Pay Range: $58 - 65 (hourly) We provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401(k) plan, paid holidays, and more. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or a related role.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills with experience in product or ecosystem analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Unidash, or Metrics360.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex findings clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting large-scale technology or platform ecosystems.
  • Previous experience working in a contractor or consulting capacity.
  • Familiarity with large-scale data infrastructure and distributed query systems.
  • Knowledge of experimentation design and causal inference methodologies.
  • Prior experience working in Meta environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights supporting product and ecosystem performance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain key metrics to measure health, growth, and engagement across products and platforms.
  • Design and execute structured experiments to evaluate new features, initiatives, and strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to define analytical requirements and inform strategic decisions.
  • Build dashboards and reports using data visualization tools to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality ad hoc analyses in response to time-sensitive business questions.
  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
