The Data Scientist II will focus on producing innovative solutions through exploratory data analysis of complex and high-dimensional datasets. This role requires expertise in statistics, machine learning, programming, and advanced mathematics to drive business insights, prototype development, and product improvement.

  • Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to identify patterns, opportunities, and business questions.
  • Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms for optimal data value extraction.
  • Generate and test hypotheses, analyze, and interpret results from product experiments.
  • Collaborate with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features, ensuring scalability.
  • Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support, including dashboards and ad-hoc data analysis requests.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R, big data tools like Hadoop, and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Strong written communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Master of Science degree in computer science or a relevant field.
