This is a hybrid role based in Lake County, IL.

  • Assist the team with the analysis of business requirements and developing solution recommendations which anticipate the future impact of changing business requirements.
  • Participate in the design and development of processes and systems to consolidate and analyze data.
  • Participate in the development in advanced analytical models and techniques from supervised and unsupervised machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • In collaboration with more senior team members, generate reports with findings and help to communicate these effectively via written, oral and visual Dashboard methods.
  • Bachelor's Degree equivalent education plus 5 years of experience, Master's Degree or equivalent education plus 4 years of experience.
  • Minimum undergraduate knowledge of statistical and machine learning methods, with knowledge in modeling and business analytics.
  • Academic experience with statistical languages and packages, such as R, Python etc.
  • Academic experience in enhancing the data collection process by consolidating data, standardizing, optimization and perform exploratory data analysis.
  • Academic experience working with modern relational databases and/or distributed computing platforms Big Data, and their query interfaces, such as SQL, Spark, PySpark and Hive.
  • Academic experience using visualization techniques for presenting data and analysis as dashboard in tools such as R/Shiny, GGPlot, Tableau, Qlik and Custom web-based solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment.
  • Able to come onsite 3 days a week.
  • Background in life sciences or work experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of Agile Project management processes.
  • Knowledge of devops processes.
  • Experiences in Personalization, Search, Deep Learning, Operations Research.
  • Working experience of OS Linux/Unix.
  • NLP, Data mining, text mining etc.
  • Working knowledge of Data Science tools like Dataiku, AWS SageMaker.
