About The Position

This remote role offers the opportunity to leverage advanced data science techniques to detect, analyze, and prevent identity-related fraud for high-stakes government applications. You will design and implement machine learning and AI-based solutions that tackle anomaly detection, entity behavior evaluation, and data quality improvement. The position involves working with large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets, applying advanced analytics, and producing actionable insights to inform mission-critical decisions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate complex business needs into scalable, production-ready solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on technical expertise while providing leadership in data modeling, ETL processes, and analytics best practices. Ideal candidates are highly analytical, experienced with modern data platforms, and motivated by solving challenging identity verification problems in a secure environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; additional experience may substitute if degree is outside the applicable field.
• Minimum 8 years of overall IT-related experience, with at least 3 years as a data engineer or analyst.
• 3+ years of experience architecting and engineering large-scale ML/AI solutions.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Zingg, NoSQL, Python, R, and Spark.
• Experience with advanced data modeling, ETL processes, and structured data management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functional groups and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status required; must be eligible to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years and have traveled no more than 6 months outside the US in that time (military service exempt).

• Analyze data related to identity verification and fraud detection, providing actionable recommendations.
• Design, architect, and implement machine learning and AI solutions for anomaly detection, entity behavior prediction, and data quality improvements.
• Lead data collection, surveys, and analytical studies to support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop advanced data models and implement ETL processes to ensure usable, mission-ready datasets.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to define business needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Utilize analytics tools and platforms, including Databricks, Zingg, NoSQL databases, Python, R, and Spark, for large-scale data processing.
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
