Meet The Team: This role requires essential analytical, mathematical, and communication skills, with a dual emphasis on modeling and data-driven decision support. The position involves developing decision support systems, predictive models, conducting statistical experiment s, working with imperfect and incomplete data, and programming in Python and SQL to generate insights that can drive action . I t combines the use of business-focused analytics tools with deeper engagement in programming , visualization, and advanced statistical modeling to bridge strategic insights and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in data science or related roles, demonstrating hands-on experience in: Statistical modeling, distribution sampling, scenario analytics, geospatial & temporal analysis, clustering Predictive modeling, building recommendation/decision support systems
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Daft, Pandas)
  • Working experience with robotics or ADAS datasets (processing LiDAR/RADAR/Camera data)
  • Experience with time series data, annotation and visualization platforms preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to approach challenges with inventiveness and creativity.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical findings and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptability to thrive within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, managing multiple analytical projects
  • Demonstrated experience processing large volumes of structured/unstructured data and conducting appropriate statistical/ML experiments

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline orchestration platforms (e.g., Databricks)
  • CI/CD & GitOps: Experience with GitOps (Github actions, Jenkins)-based development lifecycle and CI/CD & MLOps tools
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

  • Build data-driven decision support systems
  • Conduct hypothesis testing, experiments, sampling studies that can drive next best action
  • Analyze extensive datasets to unveil significant trends, patterns, and insights, leveraging sophisticated statistical techniques and data wrangling.
  • Partner across engineering departments including Data Engineering and ML Ops teams to develop and manage robust data pipelines that ensure data integrity, reliability, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle, supporting the advancement of our self-driving truck capabilities.
  • Present complex findings and insights in a clear, compelling manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and driving the progress of autonomous vehicle technology.
