The ideal candidate will have digital pathology experience. This position involves developing impact-driven AI technologies for pathology and maintaining computational methods using deep learning for pathological image processing. The candidate will work with a high interdisciplinary team to generate biologically meaningful results and work towards the clinical implementation of AI technology for oncology. Responsibilities include developing key performance metrics to demonstrate image processing accuracy, keeping current with state-of-the-art methods and tools, and establishing and maintaining computational infrastructure and analytic pipelines. The role also involves participating in the design of pathology/biological/sequencing experiments to generate high-quality data for machine learning, presenting results in collaboration meetings and conferences, and managing multiple projects efficiently. Additionally, the candidate will organize and provide up-to-date documentation for data and code, and assist in writing scientific publications and reports.
