Because when advertising is done right, it benefits everyone! The Advertising Platform's Data Insights team is seeking a Client Insights Specialist for our App Store ads business! You'll join a new team that evaluates, sources, refines, and presents powerful insights to help our advertising customers get the most value out of their investment in Apple Ads. This team’s data-driven and sophisticated analytical approaches use internal and external data sets to identify key opportunities (e.g., improving advertiser understanding of marketplace dynamics; assisting in design and execution of advertiser experimentation; conducting client pilots for new insights; analyzing unique, client-specific opportunities). In this role, you will identify the right metrics and work with our external-facing sales team to articulate strong narratives to our customers. As such, this individual needs the right analytical skill, storytelling prowess, and cross-functional experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a consultant, data scientist, or business analytics/intelligence professional.
  • 1+ years of work experience with data wrangling skills using Python/Pandas.
  • 1+ years of work experience with SQL for pulling and manipulating data.
  • Experience with in-person client interactions, specifically with senior executives.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to distill information from large data sets into actionable insights.
  • Deep knowledge of sophisticated analytical techniques and statistical methods.
  • A strong passion for BI and analytics with the ability to work closely with business teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, or equivalent industry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in the digital advertising industry.
  • Experience with media mix modeling.
  • Experience with Ads Measurement, Attribution, and incrementality testing.
  • Search engine marketing expertise, app-install marketing, and channel partners (e.g., agencies, mobile measurement).
  • Extraordinary understanding of the digital advertising landscape and critical metrics for web/mobile/apps.

Responsibilities
