About The Position

Professional work that assists in the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques to model complex problems and evaluate business challenges and opportunities. Assists in preparing, integrating, and designing large, varied datasets and databases. Assists in scoping, designing, and developing advanced analytical models and algorithms. Partners with internal stakeholders to gather, prepare, and build data sets for use in analytical models. Participates in ongoing training to continuously upgrade technical knowledge and skills. Assists in gathering requirements from business subject matter experts. Assists in calibrating and tuning advanced analyses and models. Solves complex business problems. Participates in ongoing tracking and monitoring of performance of decision systems and statistical models. Presents findings to internal stakeholders and business partners. Performs other job-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Social Science Research, or related discipline. OR Four (4) year combination of education, training, and/or experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling using large, varied data sets.
  • Applicants that are actively enrolled in and attending college and are within the final year of their degree program will be deemed eligible, allowed to test/interview for the position, and if successful, will be placed on the eligibility list.
  • Successful completion of the degree must be presented prior to hire date.
  • LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION : Certification, Registration and/or Training specific to the job may be required during employment.
