Ansell is looking for a Data Scientist and Pricing Insights Lead to join our team in Metro Park, NJ; Krakow, Poland; Brussels, Belgium! In this position you will play a vital role harnessing the power of data to uncover insights that influence key business decisions. You'll develop and manage large datasets, apply advanced analytics and machine learning, and create impactful visualizations that reveal new perspectives. Partnering with leaders across the business, you'll transform complex data into actionable strategies that drive smarter, faster growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in data science or analytics role, ideally in finance, revenue management or corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Databricks and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis).
  • Experience building and validating statistical, forecasting and time series models.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into financial insights.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, R, Databricks and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data from ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Knowledge of big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Kafka).
  • Background in deploying models into production (MLOps).
  • Domain knowledge in [insert relevant industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce].

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development in transforming complex data sets into manageable statistical analyses which will lead recommendations for improvements in commercial and pricing insight, support development of pricing strategy frameworks and the development of predictive models for sales, gross profit and selling cost
  • Design scalable, revenue management analysis and pricing insight solutions to statistically assess financial and commercial data from multiple internal and external sources (e.g., ERP, market data feeds, transaction systems) into actionable insights and visualizations.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities to support commercial and financially related use cases including price and volume optimization, incentive alignment of internal sales leaders and external distributors, and translating portfolio strategy into value propositions enabled by pricing, terms and conditions.
  • Develop and maintain predictive models for forecasting revenue, expenses, and cash flow which support scenario planning, budgeting, and investment analysis with data science tools.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Data Engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to support FP&A, Treasury, and Accounting teams.
  • Work with large datasets from ERP, financial systems, and market data sources and automate repetitive financial analysis processes using scripting and machine learning.
  • Apply statistical methods to assess financial risk and optimize resource allocation.
