About The Position

The position involves interacting with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. The candidate will develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. Additionally, the role requires identifying meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources and interpreting and communicating these insights and findings from analysis and experiments to product, service, and business managers. The position may allow for telecommuting.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Data Scientist-related experience.
  • Proficiency in statistics: regression, hypothesis testing, time series analysis, causal inference.
  • Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics and Data Mining.
  • Familiarity with optimization solver programs (such as Gurobi and CPLEX).
  • Programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and Java.
  • Understanding of relational database languages.
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models.
  • Understanding of linear and integer programming theory and models.
