The data scientist 1 position is designed for individuals who will work under the guidance of a consulting actuary or senior consulting actuary. This role involves creating, organizing, and inputting data to develop advanced analytics solutions, supporting client relationships by providing accurate information and feedback. The position requires participation in the delivery of actuarial advanced analytics consulting projects, including data preparation, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDAs), development of predictive models, and project documentation. The data scientist will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and professionalism of their work, participating in team and client communications, and suggesting improvements to processes.
