Leidos is seeking a motivated intern to support our work in Data Sciences research. The position will be based out of our Arlington, VA office OR San Diego, CA. However, this position is available as remote work or onsite. This candidate will work with other researchers and engineers in research projects focused on developing innovative data science solutions. Tasks involved in this research include adapting and extending data science technologies to new applications, developing prototypes, drafting research papers, and supporting existing cyber programs. The candidate must be intellectually adaptive, inquisitive, communicative, a self-starter and problem-solver, and self-managed when necessary. The intern will be responsible for developing, defending, executing and presenting the results of a research plan.
