About The Position

Data Science Solution Consultant Senior Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm The Data Science Solution Consultant Senior is responsible for program processes for data setup and enabling advanced analytic capabilities. How You Will Make an Impact: Collaborate with Data Scientists and engineers to create ideas for implementing advanced analytic capabilities. Perform code reviews. Maintain technical development environment and implementation plan. Assist in developing training documentation and advise on best coding practices. Develop and perform unit testing. Fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results. Gather requirements to guide approach and solution. Provide status and risks to management team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s).
  • Three (3) years of related experience with big data.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Object‐oriented programming using at least one of the following: Scala, Python.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Data engineering with at least two big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, Impala, PIG, or HBase.
  • Three (3) years of experience with SQL with traditional data warehouse technologies.
  • Three (3) years of experience with relational databases.
  • Two (2) years of experience with at least one job scheduler, including ControlM, CA ESP, or Airflow.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Shell scripting to automate tasks in Unix environment.
