About The Position

The Data Scientist Intern at Vectra AI will focus on applying advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques to enhance real-time threat detection and analysis of network intrusions. This internship offers the opportunity to develop innovative methods for identifying malicious behaviors and anomalies within network traffic, directly impacting the company's product offerings.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or Graduate major focusing on Computer Science, Engineering, or similar computational discipline.
• Python programming experience.
• Strong machine learning knowledge and/or mathematical foundations.
• Experience solving tough, real-world problems.
• Excellent collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new methods using cutting-edge techniques to detect malicious and anomalous behaviors on the network.
• Apply machine learning and AI techniques to improve threat detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a project that will be integrated into the product.
• Analyze network traffic in real-time to identify attacker behaviors and user anomalies.
