We are looking for a skilled Data Science intern for our Summer 2026 internship program. Our Data science teams here at the DriveTime Family of Brands support several different business verticals including; Marketing, Lending, Indirect Lending and Warranties. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge technologies. A successful candidate should have experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and other statistical or analytical coding tools, along with a strong understanding of the full Data Science life cycle. Bachelors or master’s student with a graduation date between December 2026 – May 2027 Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline You have a GPA of 3.5 or higher Able to read and write in Python (R is a plus!) Working knowledge in SQL, Tableau and Excel An understanding of the Data Science Life Cycle Our internship program is 11 weeks starting May 18, 2026 - July 31, 2026 Internship will be base at our Home office in Dallas, Texas. You can expect a regular on-site schedule; Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week Relocation not provided for internship
Requirements
- Bachelors or master’s student with a graduation date between December 2026 – May 2027
- Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline
- You have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Able to read and write in Python (R is a plus!)
- Working knowledge in SQL, Tableau and Excel
- An understanding of the Data Science Life Cycle

Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making processes
- Assist in developing and implementing data models, algorithms, and predictive models
