About The Position
Paramount Data Science Team within Data & Insights Group is looking for an intern to join the team as a budding statistician for Marketing Mix Modeling initiatives. Data is pivotal at Paramount, and as part of the Data & Insights Group (DIG), The DIG Data Science Team sits at the forefront of providing insights, recommendations, predictions all driven by data for Paramount . We are a team of Statisticians, Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers who use data to build groundbreaking models to drive Finance, Marketing and Content Strategy decisions. This role will support the Marketing Mix Modeling efforts within the team with a heavy focus on Bayesian statistics and econometric modeling.
Requirements
- Is passionate about statistics. Big Bonus if the candidate took a course on Bayesian Statistics
- Knows basic Python, a bit of SQL and Excel
- Is very interested in econometric modeling full-time
- Curious and inquisitive
- Majors/Minors: Math, Economics, Statistics
- This specific internship is available to students who will be Juniors, Seniors or Master’s students in the fall of 2026. If you are a graduating Senior (May 2026), please check our website for full-time job opportunities.
- You must be available to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks total starting in June.
- Interns will be required to work fully on-site for the duration of the program.
- Internships are paid at a competitive standard hourly rate (school credit is optional).
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States is required as the company does not engage in sponsorship for internships.
Responsibilities
- Interpretation of Bayesian statistics within marketing mix models
- Code development (in Python) of marketing mix models and pipelines
- Creation and evaluation of Marketing Mix Models
- Research into recent developments within marketing mix modeling practices and prototyping implementations
