About The Position

Join Paramount's Summer Internship Program and kickstart your career at the forefront of culture and conversation, working with some of entertainment's most iconic brands! This immersive 10-week paid program is designed for college students to explore various career paths while bringing their passions and insights to work. The program serves as a pipeline for future opportunities, providing valuable experience in the industry. The Global Data Science and Engineering team collaborates closely with the Global Analytics team to develop KPIs, design experiments, and build first-in-class analytics solutions in Hollywood. Our work encompasses data ingestion, ML model building, AI app development, analytics engineering, and dashboard visualization, driving high-impact decision-making across green-lighting, marketing, and distribution at Paramount Pictures.

Requirements

• Current Master's student enrolled in an accredited Economics/Business Analytics/Data Science Program in the US
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Availability to intern full-time (5 days a week/36-40 hours a week) for 10 weeks starting in June
• Employment eligibility to work with Paramount in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Interest in media and entertainment industry
• Experience with data visualization tools

Responsibilities

• Work with SQL and Python to clean data and conduct data exploration and analysis (50%)
• Build Tableau dashboards (20%)
• Build Machine Learning models (15%)
• Provide data and analytics engineering support (15%)
