About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks Data Science - Analyst 4 in San Jose, CA What you will accomplish: Job Duties: Design A/B tests and provide accurate data and decisions to deliver customized software solutions to fit specific needs and to drive the product improvement decisions. Perform deep dives and collect and analyze vast amounts of eBay transactional and user behavioral data to spot trends, identify outliers and make informed decisions. Present findings and perform knowledge sharing on a weekly basis to ensure data-informed decision making and accelerate decision-making efficiency. Work with the product management, product engineering, data engineering, architecture, and operations teams to define key metrics to measure product success, develop automated ETL pipelines, and develop automated reporting tools. Create a dashboard based on Tableau or Nous (an internal eBay owned tool) and automated emails. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance. What you will bring: Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Analytics, or a closely related field, plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in Data Analytics or Data Science.
