As part of the Risk Adjustment Data & Analytics (RADA) department, the Risk Adjustment Market Support manager leads a team of data analysts supporting risk score accuracy, forecasting and driving financial performance across Medicare Advantage, ACA, and Medicaid programs. This position will oversee the build out of a robust forecasting process and tool that will allow for more timely and precise Market risk score forecasts that can be shared with Market and Program Leadership. Utilizing key performance indicators and underlying analytics, this position will help lead Market specific performance monitoring and sharing of actionable analytics with Market leaders. In addition, the Market Support manager oversees annual work in support of the CMS Medicare Bid, partnering with Actuarial services and National Medicare Finance to assure risk score inputs and forecasts are accurate. The Market Support manager will partner across the Risk Adjustment Data & Analytics function, partnering with various teams to build out analytical and reporting capabilities that will support the government programs objectives and goals. This role requires deep experience in financial modeling and forecasting, a background in technical coding (i.e SQL, Python, R etc.) or other statistical modeling programs. Familiarity with data science disciplines (i.e machine learning, predictive analytics, data visualization etc.) and data modeling is preferred.

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum six (6) years progressive corporate, non-profit, or consulting experience.
  • Minimum four (4) years in data analytics or directly related field.
  • Knowledge of negotiation and business planning.
  • Proficiency in written communication.
  • Experience with data extraction and data mining.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages.
  • Experience with relational database management.
  • Vendor management skills.
  • Project management experience.
