The Data Reporting and Analytics Consultant V, Programming at Kaiser Permanente is responsible for providing programming support in analytical programming languages, managing data quality, and overseeing reporting for various research projects. This role involves collaborating with statisticians and researchers, troubleshooting software processes, and designing complex data solutions to drive informed business decisions.

  • Work collaboratively with statisticians and researchers to provide programming support in analytical programming languages.
  • Oversee all phases of data management, quality control, and reporting for multiple research projects.
  • Troubleshoot complicated software processes and products.
  • Design and evaluate complex macros for research and reporting purposes.
  • Provide strategies on complicated data linkage solutions.
  • Build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to drive projects forward.
  • Conduct business-specific projects by applying deep expertise and developing work plans.
  • Interpret complex data analyses and develop insights, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of advanced analytical and/or statistical models.
  • Design, implement, and automate business and reporting solutions in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Drive execution of creative data analytic approaches leading to actionable outcomes.
  • Prepare data for analytic efforts by ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  • Gather data systematically and develop tools for electronic data collection.
  • Drive strategic data-informed decisions by consulting with clients and leadership.
  • Minimum six (6) years experience programming with SAS, SQL, R or other similar analytical programming language.
  • Minimum five (5) years data management experience with SAS, SQL, R or other similar analytical programming language.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Social/Physical/Life Science, Business, or related field and minimum eight (8) years experience in data analytics or a directly related field.
  • Knowledge of Data Integration
  • Experience with SAS Tools
  • Familiarity with SQL/SAS and Web Report Studio
