About The Position

Data & Reporting Analyst This position must have the ability to work out of our corporate office in Kalamazoo. The Consumers Credit Union team is looking to hire a passionate Data & Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a Data & Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for data and reporting fulfillment and provide reporting and dashboards to departments for strategic decision making, generating revenue, increasing operational efficiency, and quality control. You will also provide assistance in the credit union lines of business including but not limited to: Executives, Lending, Retail, Marketing, Project Management and Audit. You will maintain credit union data sources, files, and ETL processes. As an employee of Consumers Credit Union, you are genuine and passionate. Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience in information technology or similar field.
  • Basic understanding of AI concepts and tools (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI) and their application in business process improvement. Experience or interest in using AI platforms (such as Microsoft Copilot, or other AI assistants approved for use) to assist with documentation, troubleshooting, and solution design. Ability to evaluate AI-generated recommendations critically and incorporate them into workflow development when appropriate.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Data and Reporting Analyst I or similar experience
  • Languages: SQL, REST APIs, XML and other common languages.
  • Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools
  • Knowledge of data management with ability to communicate with database administrator in ETL and data integration.
  • Capable of collaborating in a group and can train, lead, plan and organize.
  • Ability to work independently and make judgments in the best interest of the member and the credit union
  • Self-directed, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must have initiative, drive and commitment

Responsibilities

  • First line system support for reporting fulfillment
  • Create and present data in an organized manner using data analysis and visualization tools
  • Utilization of software for automation and reporting efficiency
  • Work and monitor support cases internally and with vendors
  • Assist with testing upgrades, fixes, and new products that affect reports
  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to improve information flow and reporting
  • Documentation of processes, changes and solutions that relate to data projects and reports
  • Maintaining and supporting multiple projects and deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
