  • Gathers, analyzes, and interprets large volumes of data from multiple sources to support business objectives.
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits and validation checks.
  • Maintains and updates databases, ensuring data is organized and accessible for reporting purposes.
  • Develops, designs, and generates reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Analyzes trends and patterns in data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborates with various departments to understand their data reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Presents findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting efficiency.
  • Maintains updated knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and reporting.
  • Develops and maintains documentation for data processes, workflows, reporting standards, and data dictionaries.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting or a related field.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Continuing progress toward and/or completion of a certification in area of expertise preferred; appropriate certifications could include an Associate Insurance Data Manager (AIDM), or Certificate in General Insurance (INS).
  • Proficiency in analyzing data sets and identifying patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Proficiency in reporting and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and familiarity with scripting languages.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of data sources content and structure to assess the quality of data.
  • General knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
