Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) has an exciting opportunity for an onsite Systems Engineer II to join our directorate in McKinney, Texas. TEE is a multi-disciplined organization responsible for contributing to the development of test solutions for all Raytheon products. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selection and integration with test instruments and environments, and developing test systems for both lab engineering and factory production test systems. The Systems Engineer II will be responsible for the design development, integration and validation of analysis hardware and software test solutions for multiple production programs.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum 2 years experience with at least three (3) of the following: RF Domain Knowledge and experience with processing RF parametric test data, UNIX / Linux operating environment, Shell Scripting - C, Bash, and/or Perl, SQL commands, Experience with Software Life Cycle.
  • US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Ability to obtain Interim U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • HTML and CGI web development.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Controls.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: Oracle 11g/12c/19c/21c.
  • Experience with Apache Webserver.
  • Knowledge and experience with CVS/SVN and Configuration Management Processes.
  • Experience with Splunk.

Responsibilities

  • Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop data analysis solutions that place process pass/fail data at multiple build points.
  • Implement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings.
  • Provide hands-on support to product testing within engineering and production test environments.
  • Share knowledge and provide mentoring to team engineers on the Multi-Functional RF Test Solutions robotics team.
  • Drive commonality of team solutions.
  • Adhere to the Section's Software Development Plan (SDP).
  • Report weekly program status.
  • Support Section Managers and Team Leads in the execution of RF Technology department goals.
