About The Position

SUMMARY: Support the flow of information by ensuring information is entered into the school-related systems and databases accurately and timely; generate reports and compile information relating to the school office; records management and filing; responding to phone calls and requests; performing data entry and database coordination for reports, queries, and input. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as the Student Information System (SIS) data steward responsible for high-quality data management. Coordinate student registration and enrollment. Coordinate student withdrawals. Assist parents and students in setting up accounts and utilizing district communication tools. Maintain student cumulative files and complete annual archiving procedures. Provide student data and summary reporting to a variety of administrator inquiries in accordance with established guidelines. Coordinate and perform advanced student information procedures such as grade reporting and master scheduling. Analyze state and federal reports and correct data as required. Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees, community members and vendors. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Other job-related duties as assigned. EDUCATION: High school diploma or G.E.D.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Customer service and data entry experience.
  • Obtain and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints ( IVP ) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC)
  • Demonstrated competency in computer literacy and Excel.
  • Knowledge of standard practices, methods and materials of assigned work.
  • Knowledge of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Knowledge of basic filing and record-keeping principles.
  • Knowledge of techniques and methods for organizing, prioritizing, and monitoring work.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and applicable safety principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of uses and properties of supplies and equipment.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, regulations.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles.
  • Knowledge of modern office technology.
  • Skill in composing and maintaining basic original documents including reports, and correspondence.
  • Skill in performing basic original research, compiling and assembling data.
  • Skill in organizing tasks, meeting deadlines and prioritizing work.
  • Skill in following directions and meeting standards.
  • Skill in providing attention to detail in assignments.
  • Skill in Computer Digital literacy and Excel.
  • Skill in organizing and maintaining records and files.
  • Skill in proofreading and error correction.

  • School office experience preferred.
  • Experience with Student Information System (Infinite Campus) or other school related databases.
