About The Position

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Data Quality Director in the Data Governance & AI Non-Financial Risk team to help manage data quality risk by completing risk assessments and overseeing the data risk reduction efforts. In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a Director level position within the Data Quality team, which is a multidisciplinary team that aims to reduce the Firm's exposure to data quality risk. The Data Quality team operate as a global team providing credible challenge as a second line team to all the Firm's divisions. Requirements

  • At least 4 years' experience in data quality, data governance, data architecture, or enterprise data modeling-preferably in financial services.
  • Deep understanding of the data lifecycle and prioritization strategies for data quality with expertise in Data Quality tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to clearly present complex issues and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to train and mentor team members and risk officers on metrics and governance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Represent and advocate for the Data Governance Office in data risk and governance forums, primarily as a Data Quality SME.
  • Lead Data Quality implementation efforts and working groups, providing strategic direction and subject matter expertise.
  • Maintain and enhance data and data quality governance taxonomies, including maintaining inventories and metadata tagging.
  • Apply Data Quality Program framework to risks, metrics, and monitoring practices across the organization.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively to coordinate and support governance initiatives.
