Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data and usage/applicability of technologies
  • Knowledge of and practice with accuracy evaluation metrics like precision and recall
  • Knowledge of and practice with descriptive statistics and outlier detection
  • Experience using business tools like Domo, Tableau, Qlik, or Excel
  • Excel spreadsheet skills (sorting data, pivot tables, advanced functions)
  • General understanding of SQL, Python, or other programming languages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and solid years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with stakeholders to foster feedback and find opportunities to improve BI experience.
  • Evaluating the quality and accuracy of datasets using auditing techniques and statistical methodologies
  • Labeling data with manual review
  • Troubleshooting data issues to find root causes and suggesting solutions.
  • Working with stakeholders to explore, refine, and analyze data assets for insights.
  • Performing basic reporting functions such as simple SQL queries or tool-based self-service reporting
  • Researching new ways to simplify, reduce waste, and increase efficiencies
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the department and organization.
