The Data Quality Analyst ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data that powers Wealth Management operations, reporting, and strategic decisions. This role develops and executes data validation processes, monitors key quality metrics, and partners with internal teams and external custodians to resolve discrepancies. By maintaining high standards of data integrity, the analyst directly supports advisor efficiency, client reporting accuracy, and the division's overall growth.

  • Develop and execute data testing strategies to validate accuracy, completeness, and consistency across custodial and portfolio management systems.
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain a 99%+ accuracy standard.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data validation rules, QA procedures, and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with Wealth Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve discrepancies and support reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
  • Act as a subject matter resource for custodial integrations (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, Raymond James) and portfolio management platforms (e.g., Orion Advisor Tech, Tamarac, Black Diamond).
  • Support advisor and branch onboarding by ensuring accurate and timely system integrations.
  • Address escalated issues by independently researching or coordinating with custodians, vendors, and advisors.
  • Lead or participate in projects that may require long-term goals, milestones, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and branch offices to ensure data integrity supports field and client success.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of business experience in financial services or investment industry required.
  • 2+ years of experience in data quality, data governance, or QA testing preferred.
  • Experience with custodial platforms (Schwab, Fidelity, Raymond James) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with advisor technology platforms (Orion, Tamarac, Black Diamond) preferred.
  • Strong technical expertise with custodial systems, portfolio management software, and data integrations.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and vendor relationships.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards applicable to RIAs and broker/dealers.
  • Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and database management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards within the RIA environment.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of basic investment terms and account types.
  • Ability to balance detailed execution with high-level strategic initiatives.
