The position involves data analysis, scheduling, and operations related to sensory panel analyses and animal trials.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years experience in a laboratory or research environment
  • BS in science related field or statistics field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of SAS and R (preferred)
  • Ability to follow safety rules, standard operation procedures, USDA regulations
  • Demonstrate effective communication and professionalism
  • Ability to achieve assigned tasks with pride and sense of accomplishment
  • Demonstrates clear understanding and ability to perform the assigned job duties in an effective manner

Responsibilities

  • Ensure results validation in a time frame of max 72 business hours
  • Collect, organize, and interpret data from different sensory panel analyses
  • Collect, organize, and interpret data from treat testing
  • Collect, organize, and interpret data to monitor puppy and kitten performance
  • Create requisitions as needed
  • Verify test schedules are accurate and performed as scheduled for panels
  • Program and adjust as needed with the R&D scheduler and DQC weekly
  • Create and update schedules for new animals and ensure proper food supply and logistics for the trials
  • Coordinate food pick-up on a weekly basis with R&D
  • Prepare, print, and post all panel schedules for testing
  • Participate actively in animals' recruitment, procurement, and adoption programs
  • Develop, revise, and review documentation as necessary related to Panelis procedures
  • Support management with any administrative support needed (i.e. reports, documentation, supply inventory and requisitions, etc.)
