About The Position

The Purchasing Data Analyst intern will analyze purchasing data and collaborate with the Purchasing team to improve key performance indicators (KPIs). This role involves preparing key customer deliverables and supporting the procurement strategy while managing inventory costs and ensuring timely delivery of parts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in project and supplier management in aerospace electronics or mechanical environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of placing and monitoring Purchase Orders and understanding supply service performance, pricing, and delivery commitments.
• Ability to generate business correspondence and communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze purchasing data to support and challenge the Purchasing team in improving KPIs.
• Implement a demand/forecast Reliability index to track demand variations and suggest improvements by product type.
• Establish an automated data management system for managing Division Purchasing KPIs.
• Act as the key user for SAP and Supplier Portal for Purchasing.
• Ensure timely updates and accuracy of SAP purchasing data with the support of Commodity Managers.
• Review and ensure compliance of Procurement and Purchasing Procedures with AS9100 requirements.
• Collaborate with wider Purchasing teams to streamline supplier planning and procurement systems.
• Provide analysis on key input measures to influence decision-making in purchasing teams.
• Support customer demand by preparing the Small Supplier Subcontracting plan and leading Conflict Minerals inquiries.
• Lead change control for demand management flow down into suppliers.
• Coordinate and support the Purchasing IT roadmap.
