Position Summary:  The Data & Program Support Specialist provides essential administrative, data entry, and compliance support across Workforce Development programs. This role ensures accurate and timely documentation, supports Goodwill staff members, and maintains critical workflows that keep programs compliant with funder, partner and Goodwill requirements. The Specialist plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, assisting with records management processes, and supporting overall team operations while upholding Goodwill’s mission and values

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and documentation trackers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous accounting or records management strongly preferred
  • Experience with state data bases and Caseworthy or similar systems preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

  • Enter and verify participant information in Goodwill’s client database and other required databases.
  • Serve as lead BFET eJAS Administrator for Goodwill’s Vocational School (training provided)
  • Ensure staff complete data entry in accordance with Goodwill, and funder requirements.
  • Track and maintain calendars for documentation deadlines and compliance milestones.
  • Work with funder compliance and program staff to address errors or corrections.
  • Maintain accurate transcripts, case notes, archives and ensure participant files contain all required documentation.
  • Prepare eligibility rosters, voucher processes, billing rosters, invoice packets, and other compliance documentation as assigned.
  • Support internal audits and reporting requirements.
  • Assist Goodwill staff with gathering eligibility documentation during intake and enrollment.
  • Screen new participants for potential third-party funding opportunities (training provided).
  • Provide basic customer service and communication support to participants and community partners.
  • Maintain participant attendance, progress tracking, and exit documentation.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting for workforce and vocational programs.
  • Support audit and monitoring requirements for workforce and vocational programs.
  • Provide internal updates, reminders, and resource information regarding program requirements.
  • Assist with community engagement and outreach as able
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and required trainings.
  • Ensure data and administrative workflows operate smoothly to support mission delivery.
  • Maintain a customer-centered, professional approach aligned with Goodwill’s values.
  • Contribute to program quality, compliance, and participant success through accurate, timely work.
