The Document Management team warehouses and maintains the documentation from all of the offices that are a part of the company. Virtually every department is dependent in some way on the services the Document Management group provides, which include mail processing, document digitizing and archiving. In addition, the team provides tax document support to the Tax Services teams, check printing and mailing for the Cash Settlements group, Historical Statement pulls for the Front Office and Medalion Stamp Certification service for the Custody and Onboarding groups. Now is a particularly exciting time to be a member of the Document Management team. The company is in the process of retiring our current imaging system (Global Inquiry) and is onboarding a completely new imaging program. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to creating and shaping training materials as well as procedures that will be applied company-wide for years to come. The Document Management team has several upcoming initiatives including which will have a long-term impact on the team and company: Onboarding additional offices and the migration of their documents to the new imaging system. Integrating the Virgo retention citation database to work with our physical and digital document repositories. Developing a custom electronic ticketing system to accommodate the numerous requests fielded by the Document Management team.
