About The Position

We are seeking a Data Product Specialist to join our dynamic Data Solutions team in the financial technology sector. This role is critical in bridging client needs with our data capabilities, ensuring seamless delivery of custom data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.

Requirements

Must be willing and or able to commute to the NYC office
Must be willing to travel for client (roughly 10%)
Experience within FCM, trading, buy-side firms, brokerages, and large banks industries required
3+ years of experience in data solutions, business analysis, or pre-sales support within a technology or financial services environment.
At least 2+ years in a client-facing analytical position
Strong understanding of data formats (CSV, XML, JSON) and integration methods (APIs, SFTP).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
BA or BS in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field required

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on data-related capabilities and best practices.
Provide ongoing support for data solution enhancements and troubleshooting.
Validate solutions against client requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
Identify data trends relevant to the market and our clients' needs
Macro and micro visualization and evaluation of data from a variety of sources / files such as
Leverage data reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau to create and deliver client solutions and products
Partner with respective leaders on effective data manipulation and transformation strategies
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to capture and document requirements for custom data files and solutions.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of custom data files.
Partner with the Sales team to provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and proposals to prospective clients.
Assist in responding to RFPs and client inquiries related to data solutions.
