As a Data Product Manager for AI Data Products at UBS, you will play a crucial role in shaping the global AI and data strategy. Your responsibilities will include data analysis and requirements gathering, product ownership, overseeing the entire data product lifecycle, promoting data literacy, and managing stakeholder relationships. You will work closely with leadership to define business and technical requirements, analyze complex data sets, and ensure the seamless integration of data products across the organization. Additionally, you will operate in an Agile manner to deliver data products iteratively while collaborating with data governance teams to enforce data standards and policies.

  • Work closely with leadership to understand the global AI & data strategy to define clear business, functional requirements & data requirements.
  • Analyze large scale complex data sets to identify insights and opportunities to scale data solutions across the organization.
  • Design complex semantic layers or reporting views to ensure data consistency and accuracy for end user reporting.
  • Define & deliver the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Data Products to accelerate AI products.
  • Oversee the entire data product lifecycle, from data ingestion and transformation to reporting and visualization.
  • Ensure seamless integration of data products across the firm.
  • Promote data literacy and data-driven decision making within the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including executives, business users, data engineers, data scientists, and technology teams.
  • Operate & collaborate in an Agile manner to deliver data products in an iterative and incremental manner.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Work with data governance teams to understand and establish and enforce data standards and policies.
  • 8+ years of experience leading data warehouse & BI projects.
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling, ETL, semantic & reporting capabilities, and overall AI delivery models.
  • Significant expertise in delivering business, functional, data, and technical requirements.
  • Experience in business process re-engineering using automated solutions.
  • Superior communication & leadership skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills for data analysis of structured and unstructured large data.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience in designing complex semantic layers and data marts.
  • Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin Data Modeler, ER/Studio).
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience with data quality tools and techniques.
