The Data Product Engineer works closely with clients to understand and support their needs with the objective being to build and refine robust data assets into data products through continuous improvement and strong partnership with end users. To achieve this objective, accesses multiple data sources and builds data pipelines that deliver actionable insights. Provides recommendations by interpreting data and analyzing results using various analytics techniques and tools. Presents insights in a clear and concise manner enabling data driven decisions. Collaborates with various partners to build a holistic understanding of the data. Creates supporting documentation and knowledge articles to inform and onboard end users. Measures and monitors data product value, usage, and integrity.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
  • 10+ years of data analytics or engineering experience.
  • Experienced with a variety of data engineering and analytics tools (SQL, Python, Excel, etc.).
  • Experienced with data and code change management.
  • Experienced with cloud tools and environments, such as AWS and Azure.
  • Highly skilled in querying and processing data from source to target.
  • Highly skilled in automating data workflows, functions, procedures, triggers, etc.
  • Highly skilled in analyzing data and advanced analytics/statistical methods.
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills.
  • Adopts and promotes agile development and product thinking.
