As a Data Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting automated reporting and analytics by preparing curated data for reporting. This will include creating and maintaining tables with optimized code, validating data quality, and ensuring dashboards and reporting solutions are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This role requires strong technical expertise in SQL and Snowflake, along with familiarity with automation tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Airflow. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data requirements, communicate complex data results in a clear, actionable way, and help design scalable reporting frameworks that enable consistency across the organization.

  • Build and maintain intermediate tables in Snowflake to support dashboards and automated reporting.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with the data visualization specialists and business stakeholders to align data structures with reporting needs.
  • Communicate complex data results in a simple, actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data reporting frameworks and BI tools that enable consistency and scalability.
  • Support automation of validation and monitoring processes using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Airflow.
  • Document data models and transformation logic for transparency and maintainability.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Power BI, analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g.,Power BI, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, analysis, visualization and automation.
  • Skilled in developing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and data warehouse technologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in insurance, underwriting, claims, or actuarial domains.
  • Strategic planning and market intelligence expertise.
  • A track record of developing automated reporting and analytics solutions.
