About the position

This position in Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Forensics at PwC involves solving critical business and data protection challenges for clients. As a Manager, you will lead a team focused on developing privacy programs that comply with global regulations, enhance data strategies, and drive growth. The role includes conducting assessments, building privacy roadmaps, and integrating privacy technology systems to improve operational efficiency and response capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct privacy, security, and identity theft prevention assessments.
• Develop transformation strategies focused on privacy for clients.
• Integrate and manage privacy technology systems for operational improvements.
• Build a privacy roadmap that aligns with global compliance and risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with clients to safeguard personally identifiable information (PII).
• Coach team members and encourage their professional development.
• Analyze complex ideas and build meaningful recommendations.
• Manage stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, privacy engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in privacy/data protection.
• Experience architecting and deploying privacy technology tools (e.g., OneTrust, Securiti.ai, BigID).
• Knowledge of privacy and information security industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Expertise in RESTful API principles, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, Java, or .NET.

Nice-to-haves

• MS degree in a related field.
• IAPP certifications such as CIPM, CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/C, CIPT, FIP.
• Experience with agile development framework.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
