About The Position

The Data Privacy Analyst will support the implementation and ongoing management of the OneTrust Privacy Risk Management module within the Data Privacy Department of a global Fortune 500 organization. This role involves conducting Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs), drafting and reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and embedding privacy risk requirements into organizational workflows to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations. Ideal candidates will have a paralegal or junior attorney background, certified in privacy compliance, and experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or wealth management.

Requirements

  • Paralegal certification or Juris Doctor (JD) with a focus on data privacy, regulatory compliance, or risk management.
  • Hands-on experience with OneTrust tools; candidates must have either direct experience with OneTrust Privacy Risk Management or a OneTrust Expert Certification (e.g., Consent & Preference Management, Data Discovery & Governance).
  • For attorney-level candidates: Must hold CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications.
  • Experience conducting DPIAs, drafting DPAs, and supporting risk management activities in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, wealth management).
  • Strong understanding of global privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and similar frameworks.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting privacy compliance programs in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with additional OneTrust modules or similar privacy management tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and privacy-related incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the privacy team to implement and configure the OneTrust Privacy Risk Management module, ensuring alignment with organizational privacy frameworks.
  • Conduct and oversee Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and related risk assessments to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
  • Draft, review, and assist with Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and other privacy-related documentation.
  • Embed privacy risk management practices into organizational workflows and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Monitor, assess, and provide recommendations on privacy risks to support ongoing compliance efforts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, legal, compliance) to ensure risk management initiatives meet business objectives.
  • Maintain privacy compliance documentation and assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
