Data Policy Analyst The Opportunity: As a data policy analyst, you understand that high-quality intelligence begins with high-quality data that is well-governed, consistently structured, and aligned to national priorities. With the Intelligence Community producing vast streams of reporting across multiple disciplines, you know that clear standards, strong governance frameworks, and trusted data specifications are essential for mission success. At Booz Allen, you’ll apply this expertise to help IC clients shape how their data is defined, exchanged, and used across the enterprise. In this role, you’ll work closely with mission partners to understand their information needs, collection requirements, and strategic objectives. You will evaluate how incoming data products conform to IC reporting standards and formats, monitor data quality across diverse repositories, and ensure new or updated data streams meet established governance expectations. As a product owner for data interfaces and specifications, you’ll assess and approve data products submitted by intelligence agencies, ensuring they are structured, tagged, and formatted in ways that maximize transparency, interoperability, and analytic value. Your expertise in IC specifications will enable you to develop and communicate policies that support consistent reporting across agencies. Beyond the technical aspects, you’ll help clients interpret what the data reveals about mission alignment: how well intelligence reporting supports national intelligence priorities, the responsiveness of the IC to evolving requirements, and where gaps in standards or product design may hinder strategic insight. Through your work, you’ll shape how the IC measures performance, builds trust in its data, and advances its ability to deliver timely, mission-critical intelligence. Join us. The world can’t wait.
