About The Position

Duties: Coordinate between providers and consumers to ensure business data is understood, fit for purpose, and integrated into analytics platforms. Create plans for the development and delivery of product data to support strategic business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, and metrics and reporting. Support the aligned Data & Analytics lead for their product by identifying data required to be integrated into analytics platforms to support analytics projects. Document requirements for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data within the product, and coordinate resources to deliver data quality requirements. Develop processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks for data in the product, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality. Manage the execution of tasks to comply with Firmwide policies, standards, and procedures related to the integrity and protection of data in the product. Identify the scope of critical data within the product, ensuring that prioritized data is well-documented as to its meaning and purpose, and classified accordingly with metadata to enable its understanding and control. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Owner Associate, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, Data Science, Data Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Owner Associate, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or related occupation.

Requirements

  • Creating business intelligence dashboards in customer finance analytics and data science using SQL, Python, and Tableau
  • Creating data products and data pipelines using Databricks
  • Modeling data, enterprise data relationship diagrams, and metadata
  • Orchestrating the data and analytics lifecycle including architecting operational databases, engineering data pipelines for seamless data flow and implementing data quality controls
  • Designing data architecture, conducting data profiling, and cataloging data for streamlined access and discovery
  • Architecting and deploying automated AWS cloud-based data analytics solutions that facilitate self-service analytics and AI/ML applications
  • Querying databases, constructing analysis and tables in Snowflake, and crafting SQL queries and procedures for report development
  • Configuring data storage, processing, and analytics environments built on AWS services, and rolling out measures for data security, integrity, and compliance
  • Developing workflows and processes to optimize data operations, implementing best practices for data management, and adherence to data governance standards
  • Implementing data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytics, and building ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources
  • Building telemetry for business intelligence tools to enhance data usage, tool governance, and monitoring
