About The Position

Utilizes DevOps practices to implement process improvements, optimizations, and governance during all stages of the analytics development lifecycle. Ensures the availability and stability of analytics platforms and tools, contributing to the system becoming a more integrated, data-informed, and analytics-driven healthcare organization. Provides strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to address and resolve workflow and platform-related issues. Collaborates with senior engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of data initiatives and projects. Consults with partner teams regarding DataOps best practices.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with DevOps practices including automation of tasks and infrastructure as code.
  • 2 years of experience supporting full implementation of SDLC including code repositories, branching strategies, process automation, and change control best-practices.
  • Experience with application and data architecture, databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle), operating systems, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience supporting and administering on-premise and cloud analytics platforms (e.g. Qlik, Power BI, R Studio, etc.).
  • Experience in configuration management, test-driven development, and release management.
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation.
  • Experience developing business intelligence solutions, such as data integration, modeling or reporting/analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes, manages, and optimizes cloud and on-premise infrastructure to support accelerated development cycles and automated CI/CD practices.
  • Embraces infrastructure as code and automation to enhance deployment processes and minimize errors in production.
  • Facilitates machine learning model deployments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Contributes to DataOps and data and analytics platform, data governance and compliance efforts, ensuring data integrity and secure access controls are upheld.
  • Designs, manages and optimizes integrated testing and validation processes, to minimize risks and bolster confidence in quality.
  • Collaborates with analytics teams and business stakeholders to align data platform architecture with analytical needs and decision-making processes.
  • Advocates for and implements DataOps best practices, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Contributes to the amplification of feedback loops, promoting a responsive and adaptive data environment.
  • Contributes to the use of advanced technology, such as artificial intelligence, natural language processing and metadata, to drive and improve program processes.
  • Ensures optimal performance and security of analytics platforms through proactive administration and regular maintenance.
  • Partners across teams to integrate advanced technologies and methodologies, enhancing the organization's data capabilities.
