About The Position

Our mission is to accelerate an inclusive clean energy economy. We work hand-in-hand with cities and local community organizations to connect communities of color, non-English speakers, and renters to energy-saving programs and affordable renewable energy. These programs help families and businesses save money, make their homes healthier, and combat climate change. We are also increasing green career opportunities for people of color, multilingual individuals, and women. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive intern to support our data and product work during the Spring 2026 semester. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving, improving systems, and helping data and information flow more smoothly. You will gain hands-on experience with Salesforce, data quality work, process mapping, and systems design while supporting our mission to advance racial, economic, and climate justice.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve and overcome obstacles
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized across multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different teams
  • Comfort working with data and organizing information in Google Sheets
  • Capacity and interest in systems thinking and design
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to respectful and inclusive engagement
  • Passion for advancing social, racial, and climate justice

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce
  • Experience mapping workflows or customer journeys using Lucid or Google Workspace tools

Responsibilities

  • Support testing and documentation for Salesforce flows and configurations
  • Conduct data clean-up and audits to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Build reports and support dashboard updates across teams
  • Help review and test customer intake and screening forms to ensure they work as expected
  • Assist with creating and updating Salesforce record types, page layouts, and reports
  • Map customer experiences, workflows, and processes using Lucid or Google Suite tools
  • Provide general data support, help identify improvements, and troubleshoot issues as they arise
