About The Position

Looking for full-time OR part-time staff, member OR volunteer. ProgressBible team members love Jesus and are passionate about seeing God’s word translated into every language. Our Data Onboarding Specialists are excellent communicators who are data nerds at heart. Data Onboarding Specialists can understand and communicate data with various stakeholders while also functioning as a data generalist in a variety of data roles such as data architect, data engineer, and data analyst.

Requirements

Excellent communication in a technical setting
Ability to learn Python programming language, pandas, and other basic data tools.
Ability to work productively in group settings, as well as individually.
Working knowledge of the Google Suite of products.
Bachelor’s Degree
Track record of communication skills in a technical setting

Nice To Haves

Experience working cross-culturally is desirable.

Responsibilities

Complete course for data programming language as well as continue education in various data specialities.
Onboarding and communicating with clients to understand data content and business requirements.
Researching and properly evaluating sources of information to determine possible limitations in reliability or usability.
Preparing detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data.
Training other members of the team how to properly organize findings and read collected data.
Designing computer code using various languages to develop and improve data ETL / integration processes.
Handle Data Warehouse monthly operation tasks.
Referring to previous instances and findings to determine the ideal method for gathering data.
Organizing and transforming information into comprehensible structures.
Monitoring data quality and handling corrupt data.
