CGI Federal is looking for a Team Lead (Agile Project Manager) for an exciting opportunity. You will be responsible for leading a high performance team in the development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models for an Intelligence Community Mission Program. We are searching for a seasoned, visionary who is passionate to learn about state-of-the-art hybrid data modeling to include NoSQL, relational, and graph database technologies. In this role, you will be required to establish a vision and lead a team to deliver a state-of-the-art, high-performance data solution to meet or exceed mission requirements. This position is located in our Arlington, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Must live within a 50-mile radius to the DMV/NCR.

  • Lead the enhancement of data models using requirements and guidance from data owners.
  • Oversee migration of test and production data from legacy systems into new state-of-the-art hybrid models.
  • Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions for cloud based NoSQL, relational, and graph databases.
  • Lead the design and implementation of data strategies, data flows and conceptual data models.
  • Lead the creation of logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality, reduced redundancy and Normalize the data to at least 3NF.
  • Understand and lead the development of strategies to support compliance with metadata standards and prescribed ontologies in a loose coupled manner.
  • Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
  • Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models in new environments.
  • Perform reverse engineering of physical data models from databases and SQL scripts.
  • Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
  • Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Degree: Bachelors
  • Experience leading teams, managing requirements, delivering on schedule and within budget.
  • Experience in designing, developing, working with database models (conceptual, logical and physical).
  • Experience with Data modeling Tools: Erwin, ER/Studio, or any native DB modeling tools SQL DB Diagrams, MySQL Workbench etc.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • TS/SCI Clearance required, with CI Poly.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with NoSQL and/or Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, Azure Cosmos, JanusGraph, etc.).
  • Experience with OpenCypher, Apache Gremlin, or Graph Query Languages.
