About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Modeler with proven experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will design scalable and high-performance data models, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements, especially within platforms like Guidewire and Snowflake. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop logical and physical data models to support P&C insurance business processes incrementally. Work with Business Analysts to define and document data mapping rules from source systems such as Guidewire and legacy systems. Optimize physical data models for performance and scalability on the Snowflake platform. Ensure the models meet business requirements, technical standards, and data governance guidelines.

Requirements

Proven experience working on data models in the P&C Insurance domain.
Hands-on experience with data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin).
Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling concepts.
Proficient in SQL and data validation techniques.
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Snowflake platform and Guidewire and Legacy (Mainframe) systems.
Familiarity with ETL processes, metadata management, and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers to ensure data integration processes align with the data models.
Maintain version-controlled documentation for models, mappings, and transformations.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting related to model implementation and evolution.
Participate in data quality reviews, model validation, and performance tuning efforts.
Support cross-functional teams with data model training and interpretation.
