About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to design, develop, and optimize data models that support complex financial systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data structures, enabling high-quality analytics and data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, and modern data modeling techniques, alongside domain knowledge in financial services.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data modeling within financial services environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Experience with JSON data modeling and semi-structured data formats.
• Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with multi-family mortgage or housing finance data.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms beyond Snowflake.
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise-scale platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to support analytics and reporting requirements.
